Hello dear members of Rainbow-4all-Club,
This week our newspaper is all about sketches. Sketches can be rough, fine, playful, living and even damn ugly! But even though sketches aren´t always so pretty they are and will be the most important part of the creative process when you create a piece of art. It is the process where you think about your construction, it is the time you get all the crazy ideas spinning in your head. And it is the time where qualities don´t matter. The only thing that matters is to get your thoughts down on paper. To be able to create a sketch no one has to have perfect drawing skills. The only thing you need is to have some creative thinking.
Now you probably think: “But how do I reach this creative stadium in my mind? It doesn´t come out of nowhere”.
You are right, I won´t disagree. I too face that problem very often. Sitting inside your room focusing at being creative doesn´t bring you anywhere. You need some kind of inspiration. So instead of forcing yourself let the inspiration come to you. I would suggest you to watch television, read some magazines, go for a walk, and get together with you closest friends. What I am saying is: GO HAVE SOME FUN.

It is often that inspiration gets to you when you are having a good time. It is often during a conversation something hits you. Inspiration should not be forced. I never force mine when I am going to create a piece of art. I am letting the subject come to me. Even when I sketch stuff in my room I feel some kind of inspiration. Even when I draw a pair of shoes I can assure you it always will be my favorite shoes at the moment.
What about the techniques? When you sketch the technique isn´t really important in any way. You just need to sketch in a way that is comfortable that day. But I have to admit, I do have a suggestion on how to become a better. The answer is simple Croquis. “Croquis drawing is quick and sketchy drawing of a live model. Croquis drawings are usually made in a few minutes, after which the model changes pose and another croquis is drawn. “(Quoted from Wikipedia) I am not saying you should draw only a model. You can draw a car, a flower, your favorite shoes, your pet, a dragon or whatever you like. What I am saying is that you should try to give yourself a time limit when you sketch. I have often drawn models where I only had 30 seconds to draw one pose. Croqius is translated as (If I remember correctly) Sketching on time. So by giving yourself time limits and forcing yourself to keep doing it, I can promise you, you will see progress. I surely did. I got a more living touch added to my sketches. I also became more precise and even dedicated to what I was doing. So my advice is keep drawing. Just keep practicing. Specially when you face obstacles at different points of time. Just keep doing it! Never stop and I can promise you that you will improve
With that said I hope to see a lot of future sketches here at Rainbow-4all-Club

Have an amazing week and enjoy all the great featured sketches this week!
